The first LA BAMBA restaurant opened its doors in Saskatoon, SK. on December 2007 by a Mexican family in an attempt to bring authentic Mexican food to this beautiful city.

This little restaurant known as LA BAMBA CAFE was the first restaurant to offer authentic and traditional Mexican food in this city, in the prairies and all western Canada.

LA BAMBA is characterized by offering Authentic and Traditional Mexican meals. All these meals come from recipes originated in the State of Tlaxcala and Mexico, D.F. and Maria (one of the founders of La Bamba) is the one who put them together to offer Canada a taste of her home and Mexico.

Our meals are Authentic because all our recipes come directly from Mexico. What you eat at La Bamba is what you would probably eat if you visit a Mexican family.

All our meals are Traditional because all our meals are those that Mexican families have been eating for ages and this kind of meals are based on traditions and culture.
